Friday 25th April 2025 marks the day of remembrance for those Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who have fought and died for their country, so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we have today.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of people join together to pay tribute to and remember those who have served. 

If you would like to join in a remembrance service here is a list of ceremonies being held in the area:

Coffs Harbour

  • 5.20am - Dawn service at the Cenotaph in Vernon Street
  • 9.00am - The march steps off at the eastern end of Park Avenue for the main service at the Cenotaph
  • 9.30am - Main service at the Cenotaph

Sawtell

  • 6.00am - Dawn service at Lyle Rose RSL Memorial Park
  • 11.00am - The march steps off in Second Avenue
  • 11.30am - Main service at Lyle Rose RSL Memorial Park

Woolgoolga

  • 5.30am - Dawn service at Diggers Club memorial
  • 10.30am - Assemble for the march at the Post Office
  • 11.00am - March to main service at the Diggers club
  • 11.15am - Main service at the Diggers Club

At the going down of the sun and in the morning ...
