The Coffs Coast community is coming together to make a significant impact on saving lives through a remarkable new initiative led by some local business owners in partnership with Guy Leech. The goal is to have defibrillators strategically placed throughout the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), which extends from Sawtell in the south to Red Rock in the north, and west to the scenic hinterland villages of Ulong and Nana Glen.

Current Progress:

So far, the Coffs Harbour Defib Hero chapter has successfully secured enough funds to purchase 20 x 24/7 available defibrillators with 12 of these having already been installed – the most recent being on the external wall of our First National office on the Jetty Strip!

The Ambitious Goal:

To ensure that a defibrillator is accessible within 3 minutes from every location in the LGA. Achieving this will be a monumental step forward in emergency preparedness and could save countless lives.

This free app will help you locate the nearest defibrillator. You’ll be able to see whether it is accessible 24 hours a day or only during business hours.

2. FIND YOUR NEAREST DEFIB

Use the app to quickly identify where the closest defibrillator is located, ensuring you’re prepared in case of an emergency.

3. REGISTER YOUR DEFIB

If your business has a defibrillator, please register it on the app. This will help us keep the information up-to-date and ensure that every defibrillator is accounted for and accessible when needed.
